The FC Bayern Munich 2026-27 Away Jersey (Player Version) was officially unveiled on July 20, 2026 — and kit collectors immediately recognised what made it extraordinary.

One key feature of the design is the return of the classic Bayern e.V. crest — first introduced in 1966 and used in various forms until it was replaced in 2002 when Bayern became a stock corporation. This marks the first time in almost 25 years that the e.V. crest has appeared on a Bayern away shirt.

Drawing on shirts worn during the 1990s and early 2000s, the jersey uses a white base with a subtle tonal geometric pattern running across the front and back. A navy polo collar is combined with a matching V-shaped insert, with red and white trim following the collar edge. Red, white and navy Adidas stripes extend across the shoulders, and the short sleeves are completed with ribbed cuffs in the same colour combination. A navy Adidas Trefoil appears on the right chest, opposite the full-colour FC Bayern crest.
